Forge Cinematic Experiences

Frame-by-frame scroll cinema — 500 to 2,400 frames per experience, custom parallax and particle engines, live-telemetry UI. Concept showcases of what the web can feel like.

At a glance: Ethereal's Forge series shows what the web can really do: scroll-driven stories built from hundreds to thousands of hand-sequenced frames, with real layered depth, floating-particle effects, and live on-screen readouts — themed around cars, space, and nature. These are showcase pieces, not client work.

The Problem

Show — don't claim — that Ethereal can deliver technically extraordinary, cinematic web storytelling at a level few agencies can match.

Proof

Claims of 'cinematic web' mean nothing — the work has to demonstrate it.

Performance

500 to 2,400 frames per act can't stutter; smoothness is the whole point.

Choreography

Scroll, parallax, and particles must move as one or the illusion breaks.

02

The Solution

We built a series of frame-by-frame canvas and video experiences — 500 to 2,400 frames across multiple acts — themed around automotive, space, and nature. Each combines custom parallax and zero-gravity particle systems, live-telemetry UI overlays, and seamless scroll choreography.

How it's engineered
L1Layer

Frame Sequencing

Canvas and video pipelines play 500–2,400 frames per act on scroll.

L2Layer

Parallax Engine

A custom parallax system gives every layer real depth and motion.

L3Layer

Particle Systems

Zero-gravity particle fields react to scroll for a live, physical feel.

L4Core

Scroll Choreography

A render engine synchronizes frames, parallax, particles, and telemetry UI as one timeline.

Latency budget
2,400frames

Three themes

Automotive, space, and nature acts each push a different rendering technique.

Techniques on display
Frame-by-Frame

Scroll scrubs pre-rendered sequences frame-perfect, like film.

Custom Parallax

Depth is engineered per layer, not faked with CSS.

Zero-G Particles

Particle systems drift and react as if the page had physics.

Live Telemetry UI

Overlay instrumentation reads like a mission dashboard.

Seamless Acts

Multiple acts hand off without a seam or a load screen.

03

The Outcome

Flagship proof of design and engineering fusion. Presented as concept and cinematic showcases, not client endorsements.
